چکیده

Background The pharmacological manipulation of the interaction between the immune system, fibroblasts and cancer cells has been proven to be a key target for cancer therapy. Based on our previously developed co-culture system, this work aims to develop an innovative 3D cell culture system consisting of immune cells, fibroblasts and cancer cells and to investigate then influence of the tumor microenvironment on the infiltration of immune cells.

O1: Modeling of Mesenchymal Stem Cell-Derived Magnetite Nanoparticles for The Rehabilitation of Immune System Function and Reducing Inflammation and Promoting Myelination in the Treatment of MS Disease

By Using the modeling of the mesenchymal (bone marrow) stem cell nanoparticles, the reinstatement of the immune system leads to the treatment of MS, result in the formation of a new immune system for the body by stem cell. The presence of stem cells promotes and strengthens myelination, and that, using simulation and 3D modeling, stem cells can be transmitted correctly to the target and place o...

Automated tracking of tumor-stroma morphology in microtissues identifies functional targets within the tumor microenvironment for therapeutic intervention

Cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) constitute an important part of the tumor microenvironment and promote invasion via paracrine functions and physical impact on the tumor. Although the importance of including CAFs into three-dimensional (3D) cell cultures has been acknowledged, computational support for quantitative live-cell measurements of complex cell cultures has been lacking. Here, we h...

Possible Association of CD68 Positive Macrophages with Some other Prognostic Factors (ki67, ER, PR, Her2 neu) in Primary Breast Cancer and Axillary Lymph Node Metastasis

Background: Breast cancer is formed of a neoplastic component (epithelial) and a non-neoplastic component (stroma). Stromal- stromal and tumor- stromal interactions have been shown in the regulation of cancer cell growth, metastatic capacity and outcome of treatment. Tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) are a component of tumor stroma reactionsand are considered as an important ...

Comprehensive Immune Profiling of Lung Adenocarcinomas Reveals Four Immunosubtypes with Plasma Cell Subtype a Negative Indicator.

Neoplastic cancer cells and cancer stroma (including infiltrating immune cells) determine the biology and prognosis of cancer. Various types of adaptive and innate immune cells are known to infiltrate the cancer stroma. However, the patterns and spatial distribution of immune cell infiltration as well as its association with tumor histology remain poorly understood. To address these issues, we ...

Three‐dimensional microtissues essentially contribute to preclinical validations of therapeutic targets in breast cancer

A 3D microtissues using T47D and JIMT-1 cells were generated to analyze tissue-like response of breast cancer cells after combined human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-targeted treatment and radiation. Following lentiviral knockdown of HER2, we compared growth rate alterations using 2D monolayers, 3D microtissues, and mouse xenografts. Additionally, to model combined therapeutic stra...
